Losing my corporate job meant having to figure out what came next and questioning my own value and worth. After years of working, building experience, and carrying responsibility, I found myself facing the work of reinventing myself in a job market that was hard to navigate at this stage in my life.
That experience from being an Office Manager for several automotive brands became part of the foundation for Andrea Vantrees Notary Services.
I have described this chapter as “repurposing the past to create a stronger future.” That phrase means something to me. Everything I learned in my corporate career still has value. Today, I bring those lessons into a business built around preparation, trust, and taking care of people.
Bringing My Experience Into a New Chapter
With more than 17 years of experience in corporate operations and office management, I understand deadlines, confidential information, competing priorities, and the importance of following through. I also understand how not having all of the tools and resources needed to be successful in a role can have a tremendous impact on day to day operations for an organization.
I know how much one overlooked detail can affect the next person in a process. I also know how reassuring it is to work with someone who communicates clearly, takes ownership, and does what they said they would do.
Those habits came with me when I built my mobile notary business. The support I hoped for in my previous roles, I bring to my mobile notary business now.
I have been a Georgia Notary Public since 2009. Building a dedicated mobile notary and loan signing business gave me an opportunity to put that experience to work in a more personal way, helping people where they are and becoming a dependable resource for the professionals who serve them.
Investing in the Work
Taking this business seriously means continuing to learn and preparing for the responsibilities that come with it.
I am an NNA Certified Notary Signing Agent and Loan Signing System Certified. I am also background screened and carry $100,000 in errors and omissions insurance.
With more than 100 loan signings completed, I have continued to build practical experience alongside that training. Each appointment reinforces the importance of reviewing instructions, preparing thoroughly, checking my work, and communicating when something needs clarification.
One principle that guides my business is simple:
We do not guess where trust is at stake.
If something is unclear, I ask. If an issue needs the hiring company’s or attorney’s attention, I bring it to them. Being dependable includes knowing when to pause and get the right answer.
What That Means for My Professional Partners
For escrow officers, transaction coordinators, and title companies, the person sitting with your client becomes part of that client’s experience with your company.
I take that responsibility seriously.
My approach includes reviewing signing instructions, confirming appointment details, arriving prepared, checking signatures and initials, and communicating promptly about concerns. With dual-tray laser printing and mobile scanning capability, I am equipped to handle document preparation and requested scan-backs, including on-site scanning when appropriate.
I understand that your team needs timely updates and careful follow-through. My goal is to help you keep the process moving while giving your clients a professional, respectful signing experience.
For estate planning attorneys, that same attention comes with patience. Clients signing attorney-prepared documents may be navigating sensitive family circumstances or significant life changes. They deserve someone who treats their time, privacy, and questions with care.
I follow the attorney’s instructions for the appointment and refer questions about legal meaning or advice back to the attorney. Respecting those professional boundaries is part of being a trustworthy partner.
The Person Behind the Paperwork Matters
Some appointments are straightforward. Others require more time, coordination, or reassurance.
My experiences with older signers, families managing estate-related paperwork, and clients facing unfamiliar documents have strengthened my belief that professionalism and kindness belong together.
I want people to feel comfortable asking a question. I want them to know I am paying attention. And I want the professionals who refer them to feel confident that their clients will be treated with respect.
For someone simply searching for a reliable mobile notary, that means convenient service, clear communication, and an appointment approached with care. Whether you need one document notarized or support with a larger signing appointment, your time matters.
What Reinvention Has Taught Me
Building this business has reinforced several lessons:
Experience carries forward. The skills developed in one chapter can become the foundation for the next.
Preparation builds confidence. Reviewing instructions and arriving equipped makes a difference.
Trust grows through follow-through. Small commitments deserve the same attention as large ones.
People remember how you treated them. Accuracy matters, and so does patience.
Losing my corporate job is part of my story. So is the work I have put into building something purposeful afterward.
Andrea Vantrees Notary Services reflects the professional I have become and the standards I intend to keep.
